1Who you are contracting with
TripGZIO is operated by Gigglezen Technologies Pvt Ltd. We list hotels, resorts, villas and homestays in India and take reservations for them.
We sell accommodation and the services a property offers alongside it — meals, transfers, extra beds and similar add-ons. We do not sell flights, trains, buses, cabs, ferries, activities, holiday packages, visas, forex or insurance, and no page on this site should be read as offering them.
The stay itself is provided by the property. TripGZIO takes your reservation, collects payment where you choose to pay online, and holds the property to the rate, inclusions and policies it published. Anything that happens during the stay is between you and the property, with our support available throughout.
2Who can book
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract. If you book for other guests, you confirm you have their permission to give us their details and that you have told them what these terms say.
Properties in India are required to record a government photo ID for every adult guest at check-in. Some properties also apply local-ID restrictions, minimum-age rules for the primary guest, or unmarried-couple policies. Where a property does, it is stated on that property's page before you book, and the property may refuse check-in if the rule is not met.
3Prices, taxes and what is included
Rates are shown per night excluding taxes, with the tax and fee amount named next to them and the full breakdown one tap away. The breakdown shows the room rate, any discount, the GST slab applied, extra-guest and child charges, add-ons, and the final payable amount. That final amount is what you pay.
Taxes are calculated from the rules in force for the property's state and the applicable tariff slab on the day of your stay. If a slab changes between booking and stay, the amount already confirmed on your voucher does not change.
Prices are quoted and charged in Indian Rupees. Any other currency shown on the site is an indicative conversion for reading convenience; your card or UPI app is debited in INR.
- "+ ₹X taxes & fees" beside a rate is the exact amount added for the dates and occupancy you selected, not an estimate.
- A rate marked non-refundable is charged in full at the time of booking and is not refundable, which is why it costs less.
- Pay-at-hotel bookings are confirmed without a charge now; the property collects the full amount at the property.
4Making a booking
Selecting rooms creates a quote. Proceeding to pay places a hold on that inventory for fifteen minutes so it cannot be sold to someone else while you fill in guest details and pay. If the hold expires, the price is re-quoted against live availability.
A booking is confirmed only when we have received confirmation from the payment gateway, or, for pay-at-hotel bookings, when the property's system has accepted it. Until then the booking shows as awaiting confirmation and you should not travel on it. Your voucher and booking reference are the proof of a confirmed reservation.
Give guest names as they appear on the ID that will be presented at check-in. A property may decline check-in where the primary guest's name does not match the ID.
5Changes, cancellation and no-shows
Each rate plan carries its own cancellation policy, shown as a dated timeline on the property page, in checkout and on your voucher. Cancelling before a free-cancellation deadline refunds the amount named in that timeline.
You can cancel or change dates from your booking page. A date or room change is re-quoted against live availability: you pay the difference if the new stay costs more and are refunded the difference if it costs less.
Not arriving without cancelling is a no-show, and the property's no-show charge applies. Refunds are covered in the Refund and cancellation policy.
6Reviews and acceptable use
Only a guest who completed a stay booked through TripGZIO can review the property, and reviews are moderated before publication. We remove reviews containing personal data, abuse or content unrelated to the stay. Properties may reply publicly to any review of theirs.
You may not scrape the site, resell its content, probe it for weaknesses, or use it to make reservations you do not intend to honour. We can suspend an account that does.
7Our responsibility
We are responsible for taking your reservation accurately, charging you the amount we showed you, passing your reservation to the property, and holding the property to the rate and policy it published. Where we get that wrong, we put it right — including re-accommodating you at an equivalent property at our cost if a confirmed booking cannot be honoured.
We are not responsible for the condition of the property, the conduct of its staff or other guests, or events outside anyone's control such as weather, transport disruption or civic restrictions. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian consumer law.
8Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction. Before going to court, please raise the matter with our grievance officer — most disputes are resolved there, and the route is set out on the Grievance officer page.
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and a booking already confirmed is governed by the terms in force when it was made.
